Team Notes:

* The Rockets suffered their first home loss of the season and are now 9-1 at Savage Hall this season.

* Toledo lost for the second year in a row to Eastern Michigan at Savage Hall. The Rockets still lead the all-time series vs. the Eagles by a 37-35 margin. Head Coach Stan Joplin is 9-9 all-time vs. EMU.

* Eastern Michigan's 75.0 percent (9-of-12) shooting from three-point range was the best against the Rockets this year and equalled the fourth-best ever at Savage Hall. The Eagles' 54.5 FG% and 87.1 FT% were also season best against UT this year.

* Toledo's 29 three-point field-goal attempts and 13 steals were season highs.

* EMU's 84 points snapped the Rockets' four-game streak of holding opponents to 54 points or less.

Individual Notes:

* Senior guard Keith Triplett grabbed a career-high six steals for the second straight game. Triplett also notched his MAC-best 13th 20-point outing this year with a team-high 24 points to go along with a team-high seven rebounds and three assists.

* Sophomore guard Sammy Villegas extended his streak of making a three-point field goal to 48 games. He finished with 19 points on four-of seven shooting from behind the three-point arc.
