* The Rockets lost their sixth straight MAC road game. It is their longest MAC road losing streak since a seven-game skid from Feb. 1, 1999 - Jan. 19, 2000.
* Toledo suffered its third loss of the season when leading at halftime. It also was the Rockets' third loss of the year when shooting 45 percent or better from the field.
* The Rockets' 50 percent shooting (11-for-22) from the free throw line was their lowest this season in MAC play. Conversely, Ball State's 88.5 FT% (23-of-26) was the highest by a UT opponent this year.
* Toledo converted 6-of-12 three-point attempts and is shooting 45.9 percent (28-of-61) from three-point range in its last four games.
Individual Notes:
* Sophomore center A.J. Shellabarger played a career-high 28 minutes vs. Ball State. He scored a career-high 13 points to give him back-to-back double-digit scoring performance for the first time in his career.
* Sophomore guard Keith Triplett scored 10 points and grabbed a team-high eight rebounds and has led the Rockets in that department three straight games. Triplett has led or shared the team lead in rebounds on nine occasions this year.
* Junior guard Nick Moore is now averaging 16.8 points and shooting 52.7 percent (29-of-55) from three-point range in his last eight games.
