The University of Toledo men's golf team shot a final-round score of 291 to place second at the Wolverine Invitational today, at Ann Arbor, MI.
Minnesota shot a 54-hole score of 869, four better than Toledo, to take the tournament championship for the second straight year. Wilhelm Schauman of Minnesota captured individual medalist honors with a score of 208.
The Rockets were led by junior Kevin Kornowa (Sylvania, OH), who finished in third place after shooting a two-under par score of 211 (73-69-69). Freshman Brad Heaven (Auckland, New Zealand) placed fifth with his tournament score of 215.
The Rockets will next travel to Chicago, IL to compete in the Windon Memorial on Oct. 2-3.
