Senior Sophia Knight is Toledo's Female Athlete of the Week after appearing in two games last week for the Rockets and earned a win over Michigan State on Friday.
Knight pitched a career-high 9.0 innings against the Spartans allowing only three runs (zero earned runs) on three hits. The senior walked only one batter and struck out five. During her 1-1 week in the circle, Knight held opponents to a .173 batting average and allowed just one earned run for a total ERA of 0.55.
