Biography
2013-14: Started the season finishing sixth in the 100 butterfly against Denison... Placed fifth in the 200 fre relay against nationally ranked Ohio State... Finished fifth in the 200 butterfly against Eastern Michigan... Racked up three third place finishes against Michigan State in the 100 butterfly, 200 butterfly and 100 freestyle.
2012-13: Finished in the top five 10 times...Recorded season-best times in the 200-yard freestyle (1:56.41), 100-yard butterfly (59.70) and 100-yard freestyle (53.08) at the Zippy Invite...Finished outside the top 10 just five times in 29 events.
2011-12: Had 13 top-five finishes in relay and individual events combined.
High School: Lettered four years in swimming...State qualifier and all-state each of her first three seasons in 200 Free Relay, 100 Fly and 100 Free...All-conference in 100 Free during junior year...Earned All-American consideration in 200 Free Relay and 100 Fly each of her first three seasons.
Personal: Born Hannah Andrea Hornis on January 27, 1993...Daughter of Helge and Andrea Hornis...Has one sister, Marscha...Plans on majoring in accounting and mathematics.
