AS A SOPHOMORE (2022)
Made an appearance in 37 games in the 2022 season, primarily as a pinch runner. She had a team-high 13 steals on 14 attempts. She made four starts in the field at second base and hit .118... Had a season-high two stolen bases in Game One vs. Miami (April 5).
AS A FRESHMAN (2021)
Appeared in 35 games with six starting assignments... Made three starts at designated player, two at second base and one in left field ... Posted .150 batting average (3-for-20) ... Scored 13 runs ... Tied for second on team with seven stolen bases.
HIGH SCHOOL
Lettered three years in softball, cross country and track for Louisville High School … Helped Leopards to 2019 Division I state title … Holds school career records for runs (119) and stolen bases (65) and season records for runs (48), singles (46) and stolen bases (24) … Played for Ohio Emeralds travel team.

Full name is Sydney Nicole McKeever … Daughter of Christopher McKeever … Has two sisters, Peyton (20) and Skye (6), and three brothers, Chase (19), Gage (14) and Colton (8) … Member of Art Club and French Club … Majoring in psychology.
WHY TOLEDO?
I chose to attend the University of Toledo because it was the best fit for me as a person. Toledo has fantastic academic and athletic programs, the class sizes seemed to be the perfect fit for me. The campus all around is stunning and really caught my attention.
