Full name is Chelsea Janet Collins … Daughter of Jim and Amy Collins … Father played baseball at Concordia University and Northwood University … Mother played volleyball at Michigan-Dearborn … Has one sister Sarah (15)  … Received DECA Districts Award, Theology Award, Project Caring Award, AP Psychology Award and American Sign Language 1 Award … Member of Student Ambassadors, DECA, Culinary Club, Campus Ministry and Interact Club … Has volunteered for multiple organizations … Majoring in disability studies.
WHY TOLEDO?
I chose to attend the University of Toledo because of the great academic and athletic opportunities offered. I am planning to become an American Sign Language Interpreter and studying Disability Studies and UToledo is a great place for me to start. Aside from that, playing Division 1 softball has been a goal of mine for a long time and I am so grateful to have the ability to do so at the University of Toledo. I love the coaching staff, team, and campus. It's really the perfect fit for me in all aspects.
