2021
2021 MAC Player of the Year and First-Team All-MAC; Third-Team All-America selection by Collegiate Baseball and ABCA/Rawlings; First-Team All-Region by ABCA/Rawlings; MAC Medal of Excellence Recipient…Hit .378 with 15 home runs, 55 RBIs, leading the MAC in each category to become the league’s first Triple Crown winner since 1998…Also led the league in slugging percentage (.739) and doubles (18) while rankings second in on-base percentage (.509) and third in runs scored (50)…Ended his season ranking 11th in the country in slugging and 16th in on-base percentage…Led the MAC in intentional walks (nine) and walked a total of 39 times, second-most in school history…Led Rockets with 10 stolen bases…Started 54 of 55 games, 46 at first base, eight at designated hitter, and three at pitcher…20 multi-hit games and 14 games with at least two RBIs…Hit .395 in MAC play while slugging .782 and hitting 11 home runs and 38 RBIs in 38 conference games…Three-time MAC Player of the Week: March 2 - Hit .500 and slugged 1.083 at Davidson, including a 4-for-5 game with two home runs and five RBIs; April 13 – Hit .444 with two home runs, three doubles, and 10 RBIs in series win at Kent State, the first since 2004; May 17 – Hit .500 across six games, tallying nine RBIs, and recording at least one hit and one RBI in all four games against Bowling Green…Reached base safely in 51 of 54 games played…Nine games with at least two walks…Career-high four hits on three occasions: Feb. 28 at Davidson, March 26 at Ball State, and April 11 at Kent State…Tied a career high with two home runs twice: Feb. 28 at Davidson and March 26 at Ball State…Scored three runs seven times, tying a career best…Started the season with a 23-game on-base streak that dated back to end of 2020 season...Academic All-MAC.
