Biography

Former Rocket offensive lineman John Morookian is in his first season as a graduate assistant coach for UT. He will work primarily with the offensive line.

Morookian was a four-year starter for the Rockets from 2008-11. He started 49 consecutive games at right tackle in his career.

A native of Providence, RI, Morookian graduated from LaSalle High School and later attended Milford Academy Prep School in New Berlin, NY. He earned his bachelor’s degree from UT in 2011.
