Played for Harmony Community School in Cincinnati in 2006 after previously attending Youngstown Ursuline High School...At Harmony, had five receptions for 155 yards and one TD, along with 16 tackles on defense...After his senior season at Ursuline, was rated as the No. 32 tight end in the country by Rivals.com and one of the top 50 tight ends in the nation by Fab 50 recruiting...Was a first-team all-conference and first-team All-Northeast Ohio-Inland District selection at linebacker at Ursuline...Had 53 tackles, five tackles for loss and four interceptions as a junior, two he returned for touchdowns...Also averaged 17 points and 11 rebounds for the Ursuline basketball team as a senior.
