Listed at No. 3 at tight end in preseason depth chart...Coming back from hip injury that forced him to miss all of 2004 season...Has 18 career TDs, the most by a Rocket tight end and third overall on UT's all-time list.

2004
Sat out the entire season due to a hip injury...Received an injury waiver from the NCAA, giving him an extra year of eligibility...Was named preseason All-America by Athlon magazine.

First-team All-MAC...Third on team with 35 receptions...Second on team with eight TD receptions...Eight TD catches is the fourth-highest total in UT history and most ever by a tight end...Caught a career-long 60-yard TD pass vs. Northern Illinois on a third-and-33 play...Had two TD receptions vs. NIU...Also had two TDs vs. UNLV...Caught career-high seven passes for 78 yards and a touchdown at Ball State.
