Rockets break previous program record of 22 honorees
TOLEDO, Ohio – Twenty-three student-athletes from the Toledo football program were named to the 2025 Academic All-MAC Team, the league office announced on Wednesday.
The 23 student-athletes named to the team are the most in program history, breaking the previous record of 22 in 2021.
To qualify for the honor, student-athletes must have at least a 3.2 cumulative GPA, a sophomore or higher academic standing, and play in at least 50% of that team's games. Transfers in their first year at a MAC institution are not eligible for the honor.
Additionally, eight players on the Academic All-MAC squad also received CSC Academic All-District distinction. The eight All-District honorees also marked a program record.
