Played in three games at quarterback, starting two...Starting QB in the McNeese State and Pittsburgh games...Completed 11-of-17 passes for 121 yards vs. McNeese State...Also used on two occasions as the team’s "pooch" punter...Had two punts for an average of 43.5 yards...Pinned Iowa State on the four-yard line with a 48-yard punt.

Sat out the season as a redshirt.

Listed at No. 14 on the Detroit News’ Blue Chip List and No. 19 on the Detroit Free Press’ Fab 50 list...As a senior, threw for 1,428 yards and 16 touchdowns...Earned first-team all-conference, second-team all-county and special mention all-state honors...Also ran for 450 yards and four TDs on 40 carries.
