Pitched in four games, all out of the bullpen…Tossed a scoreless inning and struck out two at Belmont (Feb. 19)..Struck out two in an inning of work at High Point (Feb. 27)…Threw a scoreless frame, struck out one at Elon (March 5)…Lone conference appearance came at Western Michigan (March 20).

Set the single-season ERA record for Gull Lake High School…Earned all-city Dream Team honors for Battle Creek, Mich. and Kalamazoo, Mich…Earned all-conference, all-district, all-region, and all-area distinctions during his career…Emerged as #1 starting pitcher as sophomore…Perfect Game Underclass All-American.
