This hall of famer is the first football player in UT and MAC history ever to be considered for the Heisman Trophy, 1971 All-American Chuck Ealey. He led the Rockets to three consecutive, undefeated, untied seasons and 35 straight victories, a mark bettered by only one team in the history of college football. Chuck was more than a football player at UT. He also was a member of student senate and of Blue Key Men's Honor Society. He graduated on time, in June of 1971, and since then has been a professional quarterback in Canada, his place of permanent residency. In his rookie year he led Hamilton to the Grey Cup. He is still active with Toronto of the CFL and also a regional director in Canada of the fellowship of Christian Athletes.
