Toledo races in its fourth spring regatta of season

PITTSBURGH, Pa. - The Toledo women's rowing team competed in its fourth spring regatta of the season at the Duquesne Invitational on Saturday on the Allegheny River in the shadow of downtown Pittsburgh.

The Rockets competed in two varsity 8+ races and a varsity 4+ race against Duquesne, West Virginia, Robert Morris, and Canisius. UT defeated Robert Morris in one race.

Toledo will compete in the 2026 MAC Championships on Saturday, May 16 at Ford Lake in Ypsilanti, Mich.

Quoting Head Coach Chris Bailey-Greene
"Overall, our team did well for where we are in the season. We've learned a lot. There have been a lot of ups and downs and ebbs and flow this season. The girls were very resilient. The second varsity eight got better and better. I can't wait to continue that momentum into the MAC Championships. We're as optimistic as we can be."
