Final round at Firestone Country Club to be held tomorrow
AKRON, Ohio – Sophomore Brooklyn Millard led Toledo with a four-over par 74 in Monday's second round of the Mid-American Conference Women's Golf Championships. The tournament is being held at the par-70, 6,105-yard Firestone Country Club.
Millard registered two birdies today and closed out her round with six-straight pars. Sophomore Rachel Mackinlay matched Millard with a team-best two birdies.
No. 28 Kent State is leading the 10-team field at four-under par, 11 shots ahead of Bowling Green and 15 strokes in front of No. 19 Eastern Michigan. The Golden Flashes' Veronika Kedronová is leading all individuals with a 36-hole score of four-under par.
The third and final round will take place on Tuesday.
