Rockets playing 18 holes on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday in Akron
TOLEDO, Ohio – The Toledo women's golf team will travel to Akron, Ohio this weekend for the 2026 Mid-American Conference Championships. The 54-hole tournament will include 10 schools and be played at the par-72, 6,053-yard Firestone Country Club on Sunday-Tuesday, April 20-22.
Tee times will begin at 9:00 a.m. each day. The Rockets will tee off on Sunday at 9:30 a.m. on Hole No. 10. Monday's and Tuesday's times will be determined by the team standings following each round.
A post-round recap shows will be available on the MAC YouTube page - Â tinyurl.com/5yz4v4rz - and uploaded in the evening following Rounds Two and Round Three.
THE FIELD
• Ten schools are participating in the MAC Championships.
• Kent State is the only school to win the MAC Championship in its 26-year history.
• Eastern Michigan (No. 19) and Kent State (No. 28) are each ranked in the Top 30 of the Clippd national computer rankings.

ROCKETS AT THE MAC CHAMPIONSHIPS
• Sophomore Brooklyn Millard is leading the Rockets with a 76.6 stroke average with sophomore Valeria Lizcano ranking second with a 78.6 mark.
• The Rockets have finished as the runner-up in six of the last 12 MAC Championships and placed in the top four in eight of those years.
• Toledo's all-time showings in the event have included seven second-place finishes (2006, 2013, 2014, 2016, 2018, 2019, 2024), seven third-place finishes (1999, 2002, 2003, 2008, 2010, 2012, 2015), five fourth-place finishes (2000, 2001, 2004, 2007, 2021), four fifth-place finishes (2005, 2009, 2017, 2023), two sixth-place finishes (2011, 2022), and one ninth-place finish (2025).
ON THE HORIZON
The winning team at the 2026 MAC Championships will automatically qualify for NCAA Regionals action on May 11-13.
