Baseball starts its five-game week with back-to-back matchups against Youngstown State Tuesday and Wednesday. Toledo will face the Penguins on Tuesday at 3:00 p.m. at Scott Park before heading to Youngstown on Wednesday for a 5:00 first pitch. This weekend, the Rockets are in enemy territory against Bowling Green in the Battle of I-75 presented by Fremont Federal Credit Union. The Rockets will play at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, 3:00 p.m. on Saturday and 1:00 p.m. on Sunday at Steller Field. Toledo (17-22, 13-8 MAC) picked up a key 20-4, seven-inning victory on Sunday to stay in the chase for the Mid-American Conference regular-season title. The Rockets hit four home runs on Sunday, with two coming from redshirt junior Troy Sudbrook. Toledo is tied for fifth in the conference standings, two games out of first place.

Softball competes in its final non-conference game of the season at Michigan on Tuesday before hosting Buffalo for its last MAC series of the 2026 campaign at Scott Park this weekend. Prior to Friday's game, the graduating seniors will participate in a graduation ceremony and will then be celebrated with a senior day ceremony on Saturday. Senior Eli Enriquez led the offense last week with a .444 batting average to go along with three doubles and a triple while leading the team in runs (37) and hits (52). Samantha Bolding continues to pace the team with a .375 average and 11 home runs.

Track & Field returns to outdoor action with a pair of meets this weekend, the Penn Relays in Philadelphia, Pa. and the GVSU Extra Meet Weekend in Allendale, Mich. Last time out, the team split between the Wake Forest Invitational and the 56th Annual GINA Relays. Laura Acuña earned a third-place finish in the 800m Open 7 field and recorded the fifth-best time in program history (2:08.98) while Hannah Ielfield took eighth in the 3000m Steeplechase Invitational with a mark of 10:11.31 at Wake Forest. At the GINA Relays, Bralynne Dunn placed second in the 100m Open Finals (11.66) while the 4x100m relay squad earned second in the event with a time of 48.10.
WOMEN'S TENNIS
Saturday, April 25 / vs. No. 2 Buffalo / 2:00 p.m. / Oxford, Ohio / Championship Central
Women's Tennis earned the No. 3 seed in the MAC Championship and will open the conference tournament with a matchup against the No. 2 seed Buffalo. UT and Buffalo will compete at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday in the semifinal match in Oxford, Ohio. This marks the Rockets' fifth-straight berth to the MAC Championship. Sophomore Annika Munson clinched match point as the squad wrapped up the regular season with a 5-2 victory over Bowling Green in the Battle of I-75.
WOMEN'S ROWING
Saturday, April 25 / at Eastern Michigan / Ypsilanti, Mich.
Rowing continues its inaugural spring season with a regatta against Eastern Michigan on Saturday. Last time out, the Rockets saw action at the SIRA Regatta where the 8+ Varsity boat recorded a time of 7:15.627 in the finals while the Novice 4+ boat tallied a mark of 8:40.384.
WOMEN'S GOLF
Sunday-Tuesday, April 26-28 / Mid-American Conference Championships / Akron, Ohio /Â Live Scoring
Women's Golf will travel to Akron, Ohio this weekend for the 2026 MAC Championships to be hosted by Kent State University. The 54-hole tournament will include 10 schools and be played at the Firestone Country Club on Sunday-Tuesday, April 26-28. The winning team will qualify for NCAA Regionals action on May 11-13.
