Rockets Conclude UNCW Tourney with Wins over UNC Greensboro, Army

Bolding, Pudlowski, Enriquez crank out four hits apiece to spark Rocket offense
Junior outfield Samantha Bolding was the hitting star for Toledo once again, recording a pair of hits in both games for her fourth-consecutive multi-hit contest and eighth overall of the season. For the weekend, Bolding went 8-for-13 and reached base 10 times. Sophomore Payton Pudlowski and graduate student Eli Enriquez also had four hits apiece on the day, while Audrey Miller added three hits and four RBIs.
In the 4-2 win over UNC Greensboro, Enriquez crossed home twice and Pudlowski knocked in her first career RBI and as Toledo scored a pair in the fifth and one more in the sixth to seal the victory. Junior Katie McDonald picked up her second win of the season, striking out a career-high eight batters in her second consecutive complete game.
Toledo exploded for nine runs in the final three innings of its 13-8 win over Army. The Rockets broke open the game in the sixth inning thanks to a three-run triple by Pudlowski. Audry Miller also had three RBIs on the day, including a two-run double in the seventh. Bolding and Alexis Shepherd added two RBIs each in Toledo's 14-hit attack. Mady Yackee picked up the win, giving up two runs in 3.2 innings of relief.
