Baseball looks to continue its strong start to Mid-American Conference play after sweeping UMass in its first series of conference play with wins of 5-0, 11-1 (7) and 16-11 over the weekend. The Rockets (6-8, 3-0 MAC) used stellar starts on the mound from Nathan Leininger and Deron Swanson on Friday and Saturday, and the offense tallied 10 extra-base hits on Sunday for a season high in runs. This week, Toledo starts on the road at Northern Kentucky on Tuesday before heading back home to continue conference play against Northern Illinois. First pitches at Scott Park are 3:00 p.m. on Friday and 1:00 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.

Women's basketball heads into its fifth-straight appearance in the MAC Tournament this week at Rocket Arena in Cleveland, Ohio. Toledo (15-14, 9-9 MAC) enters the tournament as the No. 6 seed. The Rockets will take on No. 3 seed UMass on Wednesday, March 11. Tipoff will be approximately 30 minutes after the game between No. 2 seed Ball State and No. 7 seed Bowling Green. The game will air on ESPN+ and the Rocket Radio Network. Should the Rockets advance, they will play the winner of Ball State-BGSU on Friday, March 13 in the semifinals. In its final week of the regular season, Toledo defeated Western Michigan, 56-49 on Wednesday behind Kendall Carruthers' 25 points before falling to Ball State, 78-71 on Saturday.

Men's basketball (17-14, 11-7 MAC) will be the No. 4 seed in the 2026 MAC Tournament and face No. 5 seed Bowling Green (18-13, 9-9 MAC) in the quarterfinal round on Thursday, March 12 at Rocket Arena in Cleveland, Ohio. The Rockets will tip off vs. the Falcons 30 minutes after the conclusion of the 11:00 a.m. game (approximately 1:30 p.m.) with streaming on ESPN+. Toledo posted a 99-78 home win over Buffalo in Friday's regular-season finale with Sonny Wilson scoring a team-high 24 points and Leroy Blyden Jr. nearly registering a triple double with 20 points, a season-high 13 assists and seven rebounds. Wilson leads the Rockets with 17.4 ppg, while Blyden ranks second on the team with 16.2 ppg.

Women's Swimming & Diving begins postseason competition at the College Swimming & Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) National Invitational Championship in Ocala, Fla. 12 Rockets will compete across various individual events, led by senior Janne Slegers and junior Leah Evans who were the team's top scorers at the 2026 MAC Championship meet. The team will also compete in three relay events, including the 200 freestyle relay, 400 freestyle relay and 200 medley relay.

Softball begins conference play with a three-game homestand against Ohio this weekend. The Rockets and Bobcats will kick off play on Friday at 3:00 p.m. and conclude the series with a doubleheader beginning on Saturday at 1:00 p.m. UT rounded out its final non-conference tournament by picking up wins over UNC Greensboro and Army. Sophomore Samantha Bolding led the offense, going 8-for-13 at the plate for a .615 average and chipping in four doubles, two RBIs and a .923 slugging percentage. Katie McDonald held it down in the circle, amassing a 2.21 ERA in four appearances while striking out 16 total batters and earning her first career save against Army.

In doubles play, Cole Cozens and Charlie Snow moved to 6-3 as Joshua Mackey and Alejandro Gonzalez sit at 6-2 on the season.
