Charlie Snow picks up his third-straight singles win
MUNCIE, Ind. – The Toledo men's tennis team fell in a closely contested match with Mid-American Conference opponent Ball State, 4-3, on Thursday afternoon in Muncie, Ind.
Junior Charlie Snow won his third-consecutive singles win with a 7-5, 7-5 win on the No. 5 singles court. Hanamichi Carvajal and Matias Olivero also posted straight-set wins on the No. 1 and 3 courts, respectively. Carvajal tallied a 7-6, 6-3 win on the No. 1 court while Olivero recorded a 6-2, 6-1 victory on the No. 3 court.
Match point came down to a hard-fought battle on the No. 2 court as Poonthong Komolpisut fell in a three-set match 7-6, 4-6, 4-6. Ball State won the doubles before earning wins on the No. 4 and 6 singles courts to take the match.
