Eli Enriquez and Audrey Miller blast home runs in Friday's contests
Freshmen Mak Sitarski and Jenna Gober made their first collegiate starts on Friday. Sitarski tallied her first career hit against the Wildcats with a single in the fifth inning while Gober scored her first runs against the Tigers.
In the early matchup against Northwestern, sophomore outfielder Audrey Miller tallied her first home run of the season and 10th of her career with a solo shot in the first inning.
Against Memphis, Eli Enriquez put the Rockets on the board with her first home run of the season, drilling a three-run shot to right field, 4-3. Enriquez recorded her first multi-hit and multi-RBI game of the season against the Tigers. Alexis Shepherd chipped in an RBI single to help even the game in the bottom of the third.
Junior Mady Yackee earned the start against Northwestern, throwing two innings and surrendering three hits and one run. Redshirt freshman Reese Poston made her season debut against Memphis, tossing two innings and allowing only one hit while totaling two strikeouts.
