Rockets Conclude Regular Season Hosting Buffalo

Toledo looking to extend four-match win streak on Friday
TOLEDO, Ohio – The Toledo women's tennis team will conclude regular-season match play with a home contest against Buffalo. The Rockets and Bulls will meet on Friday, April 18 at noon at the UT Varsity Tennis Courts on campus.
Toledo, the defending Mid-American Conference Champions, will host the 2025 MAC Championship on April 24-25 at the UT Varsity Tennis Courts. The Rockets currently hold the No. 3 seed in the tournament, while Buffalo owns the fourth and final spot in the event.
ABOUT THE ROCKETS
Toledo owns an overall record of 13-6 (6-3 MAC) after picking up two gritty 4-3 wins over Miami and Ball State last weekend. Sophomore Jone Ibanez clinched match point in both matches, posting a straight-set win on Friday and a three-set thriller on Sunday.
Freshman Jacklynka Scholten moved to 16-0 in singles play (6-0 MAC) after winning in straight sets in both matches over the weekend. Scholten looks to remain undefeated in regular-season singles match play with a victory on Friday.
SCOUTING BUFFALO
Buffalo enters the match with an 18-6 (5-4 MAC) record. The Bulls went 1-1 last weekend, defeating Western Michigan 6-1 and falling to Northern Illinois, 4-3. The Rockets and Bulls last met on March 21, 2025 with Toledo picking up a 4-3 victory.
