OXFORD, Ohio – The Toledo baseball team dropped its Mid-American Conference opener to Miami, falling in a 5-0 shutout decision at McKie Field on Friday afternoon.

The Rockets (4-8, 0-1 MAC) were held to three hits by the RedHawks' pitching staff. Miami (6-7, 1-0 MAC) scored in each of its final four innings to secure the victory.
