Toledo finishes weekend in Virginia with 2-1 record
RICHMOND, Va. – The Toledo baseball team saw its three-game winning streak snapped against Richmond, falling to the Spiders, 5-1 at Pitt Field on Sunday afternoon.

The Rockets (4-6) finished 2-1 at the Central Virginia Classic after victories against VCU and William & Mary earlier in the weekend. The Spiders (9-2) broke a 1-1 tie and took the lead for good with two runs in the second inning, and also finished the weekend with a 2-1 record.

Toledo will head to Cincinnati on Wednesday, March 5. First pitch against the No. 23 Bearcats will be at 4:00 p.m. from UC Baseball Stadium on ESPN+.
