Rockets Announce 2026 Fall Schedule

Toledo set to host a tournament in September and November
TOLEDO, Ohio – Toledo men's tennis coach head coach Al Wermer announced his team's 2026 fall schedule on Thursday. The Rockets will host two tournaments, the Everybody vs. Cancer Tournament and the Zach Barden Memorial Invite.
To kick off the start of the 2026-27 season, the Toledo men's and women's tennis teams will be participating in the Rockin' with the Rockets event on Monday, Sept. 7 at the Toledo Tennis Club.
The fall slate officially begins with the Everybody vs. Cancer Tournament at the UT Varsity Tennis Courts on Sept. 25-27. The squad will then compete at the UTR Shootout in East Lansing, Mich. on Sept. 26-28 and the ITF M15 Future in Ann Arbor, Mich. on Sept. 28-Oct. 2.
The Rockets will host their annual Alumni Weekend on Oct. 9-11, overlapping with the Homecoming football game on Oct. 10. Competition returns with the ITA Midwest Regionals in Columbus, Ohio on Oct. 14-20 and the MAC Indoor Championships in Muncie, Ind. on Oct. 23-25.
In November, UT will host the Zach Barden Memorial Invite on Nov. 6-8 before concluding the fall season with the ITF M25 Future in Columbus, Ohio on Nov. 9-13 and the UTR Shootout in East Lansing, Mich. on Nov. 14-16.
The Rockets return four letterwinners from last season while welcoming in three newcomers into the fold. The 2027 dual match schedule will be released at a later date.
