Fans can get sneak peek of four-time defending MAC champions prior to first exhibition game on Oct. 19
TOLEDO, Ohio – The Toledo men's basketball team will be holding an intrasquad scrimmage and practice on Saturday, Oct. 5 prior to the football team's Homecoming game at 3:30 p.m. vs. Miami. The team will practice and warm up from 12:00-12:30 p.m. before holding their scrimmage from 12:30-1:30 p.m.

To attend the practice and scrimmage, fans should park in Lot 1 or Lot 2. To park in lots next to Savage Arena, fans will need to have a football parking pass.
Toledo's 2024-25 season gets underway on Saturday, Oct. 19 in Savage Arena with an exhibition game against Grand Valley State.

Toledo opens its regular season with a pair of road games at Troy (Nov. 4) and Marshall (Nov. 9) before hosting Wright State in its home opener on Wednesday, Nov. 13. UT will receive its final tuneups prior to Mid-American Conference play with matchups at Houston (Dec. 18) and Purdue (Dec. 29). The Rockets will open league play at Western Michigan (Jan. 4).
The Rockets are looking to continue their historic run as the only current MAC program ever to win four consecutive outright league titles. Toledo is returning two starters from last year's squad that posted a 20-12 overall record and 14-4 league mark. Sophomore forward Javan Simmons (12.2 ppg, 5.0 rpg) earned MAC Freshman of the Year honors, while sophomore guard Sonny Wilson (8.0 ppg, 2.2 apg) was named to the MAC All-Freshman Team.
Toledo also has added veteran transfers Isaiah Adams (12.8 ppg, 4.0 rpg, 3.7 apg at Buffalo), Seth Hubbard (14.1 ppg, 3.4 rpg at WMU), and Colin O'Rourke (17. 5 ppg, 6.2 rpg at Wisconsin-Parkside).
