- Trey Wright's sacrifice fly brought home one run, and two batters later, Scholvin tripled to drive home two that would double the Rockets' lead in the third. After a pitching change, Konczak singled to center to plate Scholvin to push UT ahead 7-0 .
- EMU got on the board in the fourth on a sacrifice fly.
- The Rockets loaded the bases in the seventh before Scholvin walked home a run and another came home on a wild pitch. Konczak doubled to right field to finish the game at 11-1, applying the Sunday mercy rule.
