Tournament includes six schools ranked among Top 40 nationally

TOLEDO, Ohio – The Toledo men's golf team will head to Virginia next week to compete in the Lewis Chitengwa Memorial. The tournament will be held on Monday-Tuesday, April 8-9 at the par-71, 7,116-yard Birdwood Golf Club in Charlottesville, Va.

The Field
The Rockets will be competing against a field that includes six schools ranked among the Top 40 nationally - No. 6 Florida State, No. 7 Tennessee, No. 11 Arkansas, No. 12 Virginia, No. 31 North Florida, and No. 40 Northwestern. The tournament also includes Clemson, Liberty, Loyola (Md.), Maryland, Texas State, and Virginia Tech.

This Week's Lineup
The Rockets' lineup will include senior Barend Botha at No. 1, senior Palmer Yenrick at No. 2, senior Jamie Tofte Nielsen at No. 3, junior CJ van Wyk at No. 4, and sophomore Mads Jensen at No. 5.

Botha leads the team with a 70.8 stroke average this season followed by Nielsen (73.2) and Yenrick (74.0).

Last Time Out
Toledo placed 14^th overall in the Hootie at Bulls Bay Intercollegiate on March 24-26. Barend Botha led the team at one-under par 215 and tied for 14^th place in the tournament.
