Four players earn second career award
TOLEDO, Ohio – Six members of the Toledo baseball program have been named Academic All-MAC, the league office announced today.
Patrick Dillon, Caden Konczak, Scott Mackiewicz, Garret Pike, Camryn Szynski, and Trey Wright were the Rockets to earn the academic honor.
This marks the second Academic All-MAC honor for Dillon, Mackiewicz, Szynski, and Wright. Konczak and Pike are both first-time winners. Wright was one of three student-athletes in the Mid-American Conference to post a perfect 4.0 GPA.
The Academic All-MAC honor is for a student-athlete who has excelled in athletics and academics. To qualify, a student-athlete must have at least a 3.20 cumulative GPA and have participated in at least 50 percent of the contests for that particular sport.
