Senior Amelia Lee in three-way tie for first place at one-over par 73
BOWLING GREEN, Ohio – Senior Amelia Lee is in a three-way first-place tie and two more Rockets are in the Top 10 to lead the Toledo women's golf team to a second-place standing after Friday's opening round of Bowling Green's Dolores Black Falcon Invitational. UT shot a team score of 14-over par 302 at the par-72, 5,911-yard Stone Ridge Golf Club, and is three strokes in front of second-place Butler.

Lee was three-over through 13 holes before registering back-to-back birdies on the 14th and 15th hole to move into a tie for the lead with Butler's Lily Celentano and Loyola's Grace Suter at one-over par.
Junior Cheryl Hong is one stroke out of the lead and tied for fourth place at two-over par 74, while sophomore Yedam Lee is tied for ninth place at three-over par 75. Junior Macy Hanus was tied for 11th place at four-over par 76 but was disqualified after signing an incorrect scorecard.

Junior Angel Hii rounded out the Rockets' lineup with an eight-over 80 and is tied for 38th place.

Senior Claudia Sampson and junior Kaitlyn Natividad are leading Toledo's four individuals competing in the tournament at seven-over par 79. Sophomore Cameron Ford shot a 13-over par 85, and senior Kathryn Roth shot a 17-over par 89.

Tomorrow's final round will begin with a 10:00 a.m. shotgun start.
