Rockets to Open Spring Season in Florida

Toledo to compete against eight other MAC programs at Falcon Florida Invitational
TOLEDO, Ohio — The Toledo women's golf team will open its spring season next week when it heads south to Lakewood Ranch, Fla. for Bowling Green's Falcon Florida Invitational. The tournament will be held on Monday-Tuesday, Feb. 6-7 at the par-72, 6,069-yard Royal Lakes Golf Course at the Lakewood Ranch Golf & Country Club.
Thirty-six holes beginning with an 8:00 a.m. shotgun will be played on Monday. Tuesday's final round will consist of tee times off the No. 1 and No. 10 tees beginning at 11:00 a.m.
Joining the Rockets in the field are eight other Mid-American Conference programs - Akron, Ball State, Central Michigan, Eastern Michigan, Northern Illinois, Ohio, Western Michigan, and the host Falcons – as well as Illinois State, Idaho and Western Illinois.

Toledo's lineup will include senior Amelia Lee at No. 1, junior Macy Hanus at No. 2, sophomore Yedam Lee at No. 3, junior Angel Hii at No. 4, and junior Cheryl Hong at No. 5. Junior Kaitlyn Natividad is competing as an individual.

Toledo finished fifth at Missouri State's Ozarks National Invitational on Oct. 31-Nov. 2. Senior Amelia Lee tied for seventh place at 10-over par 226, while junior Macy Hanus tied for 18th place at 13-over par 229.Â
