Watch: Mission 23: A New Season
 
TOLEDO, Ohio – The University of Toledo Athletic Department released the first episode of a docuseries, "Mission 23: A New Season," that will follow the men's and women's basketball teams as they make their way through the 2022-23 season and head into the Mid-American Conference Tournament in March.
 
The first episode in the series, which was produced and edited by Video Production Coordinator Faith Brown and the Rocket Video creative team, debuted on Thursday, Feb. 2 on You Tube and on UT's official athletic website UTRockets.com. The series features behind-the-scenes video and interviews of Rocket student-athletes and coaches, as well as highlights from the season. Additional chapters of the series will be released in the upcoming weeks.
 
The men's basketball team currently hold a 16-6 record, 7-2 in MAC play and one game out of first place in the conference. The women are 16-4, also 7-2 in the league and a game out of the top spot in the MAC.

The Toledo women host Ohio at Savage Arena on Saturday, Feb. 4 at 2:00 p.m. while the men entertain Central Michigan at 7:00 p.m. Tickets can be purchased online to UTRockets.com/tix, by calling 419-530-GOLD (4653) or at the gate on game day. Gates open 90 minutes before tipoff.
