TOLEDO, Ohio - The College Football Network put 20 Rockets on its 2023 Midseason All-MAC Team, the website announced today. Eight Rockets made CFN's first-team, the most of any MAC school.

In addition, junior quarterback Dequan Finn was named Midseason MAC Player of the Year, junior running back Peny Boone was named MAC Midseason Offensive Player of the Year, and Jason Candle was named Midseason MAC Coach of the Year.

Toledo's defensive line was named as the MAC's top D-line at midseason, while Finn, Boone, and Newton were all named the top MAC players at their respective positions.

Junior wide receiver Jerjuan Newton was named to the Midseason Third-Team Offense All-America list, while sophomore safety Emmanuel McNeil-Warren was named a Midseason Second-Team Special Teams All-American.
