Toledo Welcomes Buffalo, Binghamton for Dual Match Weekend

Toledo, Ohio – The Toledo men's tennis team will close out the month of March with two home matches this weekend vs. Buffalo and Binghamton at Shadow Valley Tennis Club.
The Rockets (9-6, 2-1 MAC) will take the court with the Bulls (2-9, 1-2 MAC) on Friday, March 25 at 2:00 p.m. UT will then play the Bearcats (1-9, 0-3 MAC) on Sunday, March 27 at 1:00 p.m.
"Right now, we're focused on trying to keep our foot on the gas," head coach Al Wermer said. "All conference matches are in doubt all the way until the end."
Last Time Out
Toledo swept Ball State 7-0 on Saturday in its conference home-opener. Pawit Sornlaksup won his 13-straight singles match on the No. 1 court over BSU's Thibault de Negri, 6-2 6-2. Sornlaksup and doubles partner Marko Galic won their sixth-straight doubles match on the No. 1 court.
About Buffalo
Buffalo was swept by reigning MAC Champions Western Michigan on Friday (7-0), and lost a close 4-3 match to Northern Illinois on Sunday. The Bulls opened the match vs. NIU with the doubles point clinch, but could not win the deciding No. 6 singles court for the match victory.
About Binghamton
Binghamton lost its seventh-straight match on Saturday vs. WMU, 7-0. The Bearcats' lone win this season was 4-3 vs. Fairleigh Dickinson University on Feb. 5. The Bearcats will visit Ball State on Friday before heading to Toledo on Sunday.
