TOLEDO, Ohio – The University of Toledo women's tennis teams looks to mark its 10th-straight home win in a dual match with Duquesne at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 11 at Twos Athletic Club.
The rockets (5-1) have won their last nine home matches, dating back to April 9, 2021, and its last five dual matches overall.Â
Last Time on the Court
Toledo secured back-to-back 7-0 victories over Wayne State and Findlay on Feb. 4. The Warriors had a glimpse of hope in doubles competition when they won the No. 2 court, but Rockets duo
Laura Morera and
Patricia Panta secured the point with a 6-2 win on the No. 3 court. Later that same day, the Rockets swept ever doubles and singles court matchup against the Oilers for their fifth-straight win.
About Duquesne
Duquesne closed out its season-opening weekend with a 1-1 showing against Mount St. Mary and Cleveland State over the weekend. The Dukes won their first match of the season by a 6-1 score over the Mountaineers on Friday, Feb. 4, then fell to the Vikings 5-2 the following afternoon.
