TOLEDO, Ohio – The Toledo women's basketball team has arrived in Daytona Beach, Fla. for the Daytona Beach Invitational, an eight-team weekend tournament held the Friday and Saturday after Thanksgiving.
The Rockets (3-1) will face Penn State (5-0) on Friday, Nov. 25 at 1:15 p.m. and UT Arlington (2-2) on Saturday at 1:15 p.m. at Ocean Center Convention Center in Daytona Beach.
All tournament games will be streamed live on FloHoops.

Last Time Out
Toledo hosted Duke this past Sunday in front of 5,427 fans at Savage Arena and fell to the Blue Devils by a score of 58-41.
The Rockets trailed Duke by just three points, 17-14, at the end of the first quarter, but were outscored 15-3 in the second frame. Despite hanging with the Blue Devils in the second half, Toledo was not able to overcome the early deficit.
Khera Goss and
Nan Garcia tied for the team lead with 11 points, and
Quinesha Lockett was close behind with nine points. Garcia was 3-for-4 from three-point range, and Goss connected on two of her three-pointers as well.
Sammi Mikonowicz led Toledo with six rebounds and Lockett had a game-high five assists.

- Head Coach Tricia Cullop won her 299th career game as the Rockets' head coach last Wednesday at Cincinnati, putting her just one victory away from 300 for her career at Toledo. She is the program's all-time leader in coaching wins.
- Quinesha Lockett's 1,449 career points are 14th all-time and just six away from moving past Andola Dortch (2010-14) and Jay-Ann Bravo-Harriott (2014-18) to move into sole possession of 12th place on the all-time scoring list. She is 16 points away from moving into the Top 10 all-time.
- Toledo is ranked No. 6 in the most recent CollegeInsider.com Mid-Major Poll.
- Sunday's game against Duke was the 18th since 2000 with at least 5,000 fans in attendance. It ranks sixth in that timespan among regular season contests.
- The Rockets are one of the best teams in the country at taking care of the ball, ranking fourth in fewest turnovers (10.0/game) and 13th in assist/turnover ratio (1.52).
- Toledo leads the MAC in scoring margin (+11.25) and ranks third in scoring offense, averaging 74.0 points per game.
- Three different Rockets have tallied double-doubles (Jessica Cook, Quinesha Lockett, and Sammi Mikonowicz), making Toledo the only MAC school to have three different players record double-doubles.
- Mikonowicz ranks third in the MAC in rebounding (8.0 RPG) and has led Toledo in rebounds in each of the last two games.
- Cook is shooting a team-best 63.0% from the floor (17-for-27) and has two games scoring in double figures.
- Justina King has been nearly automatic at the charity stripe, knocking down 12-of-13 free throws (92.3%). She ranks second in the MAC in free throw percentage.
- Sophia Wiard has led the MAC in assist/turnover ratio each of the last two seasons, and this year she ranks third in the league and 23rd nationally with an A/T ratio of 3.80. Wiard also ranks second in the MAC in assists, averaging 4.75 per game.

The Nittany Lions enter play this week at 5-0, having recently defeated Syracuse 82-69 on Monday night. Penn State is averaging 79.8 PPG and holding opponents to 55.0 PPG, and is led by senior Makenna Marisa (19.6 PPG) and sophomore Leilani Kapinus (11.0 PPG) on the offensive end.
