TOLEDO, Ohio – Sophomore safety Maxen Hook was voted "Ironman of the Game" following his performance in Toledo's 28-21 win over Ball State on Tuesday.
Hook tallied seven tackles in the game and nabbed the game-clinching interception in the waning moments of the fourth quarter. With the ball at its own 45-yard line, Ball State's fourth-down heave was picked off by Hook to seal the deal. The win, coupled with Western Michigan's loss on Wednesday night, clinched a spot in the MAC Championship Game for the Rockets, their first since 2017.
Rocket fans can vote online each week throughout the football season for the Iron Workers Local Union No. 55 "Ironman of the Game." To vote, check out the Rockets on Twitter after each game and select who you think should be the Ironman of the Game. We ask that fans only vote once per game.
