BIRMINGHAM, Mich. - Senior Amelia Lee and sophomore Yedam Lee led the way for the Toledo women's golf team and are tied for 12^th place after shooting 80s in Monday's first round of the Chippewa Invitational. Today's round was played in blustery, rainy and chilly conditions at the par-72, 5,897-yard Birmingham Country Club.

Junior Macy Hanus and freshman Reese Jansa are tied for 28^th place for the Rockets with 83s, while junior Angel Hii is tied for 53^rd place with an 88.

Junior Cheryl Hong and senior Claudia Sampson are leading Toledo's B team after shooting rounds of 81 and 82, respectively.

The Rockets sit in fifth place in the team standings with a score of 326. Bowling Green is in first place at 312, six shots in front of Oakland. The Falcons' Emily Nystrom leads the tournament after a 2-over par 74.

The second and final round of the 36-hole event is scheduled for 10 a.m. Tuesday.
