TOLEDO, Ohio – The Toledo men's tennis heads to its second stop on a five-match road swing this weekend in Bloomington, Ind. The Rockets will have a morning match with Indiana on Saturday, Jan. 22 at 11:00 a.m. at the IU Tennis Center
"Saturday will be another big challenge for us, going into IU's building and try to withstand the fire they always bring," head coach Al Wermer said. "We just need to keep building on every day and every match."
Last Time Out
Toledo faced its toughest competition in the 2022 season opener, falling to No. 6 Ohio State 7-0 on Wednesday.
About Indiana
Indiana won three flights at the Louisville Invitational on Oct. 17, one doubles draw and two singles draws. The Hoosiers then closed out the fall season at the Big Ten Individuals in the beginning of November. Indiana recorded a 7-10 overall record with a 6-8 mark in Big Ten competition in the 2020-21 season. Toledo will be Indiana's first dual competition of the new season.
