Darryn Davis led the way with a career day, going 4-for-5 at the plate with two home runs, a double, and five RBIs, the first multi-homer game of his career.

Toledo visits Northern Illinois this weekend for a four-game series.
How it Happened
- Davis opened the score with an opposite field two-run home run, putting the Rockets up 2-0.
- Eastern Michigan tagged Toledo for four runs in the bottom half of the second, turning a two-run deficit into a two-run advantage.
- The Rockets' offense exploded for 12 runs in the top of the third to take a commanding 14-4 lead. Sixteen hitters came to the plate for Toledo, pounding out 11 hits, including six extra-base hits, to put together the most productive offensive inning of the season.
- The first 10 batters of the inning reached base safely, and several Rockets reached base safely twice in the inning. Notably, Davis doubled and homered in the top of the third while Winterstein doubled and tripled.
- Toledo added two more runs in the top of the fourth to extend its lead to 16-4. Meyers drive in a run with a single into the gap in left-center field, then Servello scored two batters late on an RBI groundout.
- EMU closed the mammoth deficit a bit with a three-run bottom of the fourth, an inning highlighted by a first-pitch leadoff home run by Will Oberg, though Toledo still held a 16-7 lead.
- The Eagles would not go away, scoring two more runs in the bottom of the sixth to trim the deficit to seven, 16-9. Nick Jones' RBI triple the next inning brought EMU's run total to 10, still six runs behind the Rockets.
- Power and Schnitz-Paxton pitched the eighth and ninth innings, respectively, to close out Toledo's fifth win in the last six games.
