Toledo totals 3.56 team GPA in 2025-26
TOLEDO, Ohio – The Toledo baseball team totaled a 3.56 team GPA to earn the ABCA Team Excellence Award, the American Baseball Coaches' Association announced on Wednesday.

Toledo earned the team academic honor for the fifth-straight season. To qualify, college and high school teams must have at least a 3.0 full-year GPA on a 4.0 scale.

The Rockets set a program record with a 3.56 team GPA in the fall semester and neared that record in the spring with a 3.55 mark. Toledo has earned a team GPA of at least 3.2 every year under Rob Reinstetle.

Three student-athletes were named to the CSC Academic All-District Team and five were named Academic All-MAC.

Individually, Troy Sudbrook was named a CSC First Team Academic All-American, becoming the first Rocket since 2013 to take the honor, and the first ever named to the first team.
