AKRON, Ohio – Sophomore Amelia Lee paced the Toledo women's golf team on Friday in the first round of the Akron Invitational. The tournament is being held at the par-71, 6,265-yard Portage Country Club.

Lee carded a six-over par 77 and is tied for 16^th place. She is followed by freshman Cheryl Hong (79/T-25^th), freshman Angel Hii (80/T-27^th), freshman Macy Hanus (82/32^nd) and sophomore Claudia Sampson (86/38^th).

Freshman Kait Natividad (80/T-27^th) and sophomore Kathryn Roth (83/T-33^rd) are competing as individuals.

Indianapolis sits atop the team leaderboard with a 12-over par 296. The Greyhounds' Cailyn Henderson and Akron's Jenn David are leading all individuals at two-over par 73.

The tournament's final round will begin on Saturday at 9:00 a.m.
