TOLEDO, Ohio – Toledo enters its game at Ohio on Tuesday, Nov. 16 (7:00 p.m./ESPN+) with its offense playing the best it has all year and its defense coming off a dominating performance in a 49-17 win at Bowling Green on Nov. 10. Head Coach Jason Candle hopes his team can keep up the pace against a rapidly improving Ohio team that is coming off a pair of close wins.

Toledo has scored 49 points in each of its last two games, thanks in part to the play of redshirt freshman quarterback Dequan Finn. Finn, who took over as the starter in week 7, has thrown for 731 yards and six touchdowns in the Rockets' last two games. He is also a dangerous runner, as evidenced by his eight rushing TDs.

Against Bowling Green, Toledo turned a close game into a rout with three touchdowns in a span of 2:19 late in the first half in the annual Battle of I-75 at Doyt L. Perry Stadium.

Toledo thoroughly dominated the contest, winning for the 11th time in the last 12 tries against its arch-rival. The Rockets outgained the Falcons, 539-196, including a staggering 352-64 in the first half.

Finn completed 18-of-24 passes for 270 yards and three TDs. Junior Bryant Koback led the rushing attack with 121 yards and two touchdowns. Toledo's defense racked up five sacks, 12 tackles for loss and five pass breakups.

Ohio (3-7, 3-3 MAC) opened the season losing seven of eight games but has won its last two, a 35-33 win over Miami on Nov. 2 and a 34-26 victory at Eastern Michigan on Nov. 9.
