Rockets Fall 2-0 in MAC-Opening Match Against Buffalo

TOLEDO, Ohio – In a match that saw nearly an hour delay due to heavy thunderstorms, the Toledo soccer team found itself on the wrong side of the scoreboard as the Rockets (3-6-0, 0-1-0) fell 2-0 to Buffalo (4-3-1, 1-0-0) Friday night in a Mid-American Conference match at Paul Hotmer Field.

The Rockets' luck ran dry throughout the game, as a 10-7 shot advantage resulted in no goals. Toledo twice hit the woodwork with shots and had several other balls played into the box that were either snatched up or hit away by UB keeper Emily Kelly.

The Bulls put two early first-half goals, as Kara Daly scored in the sixth minute and Andrea Judasz added another 20 minutes later to give Buffalo all it needed.
