TOLEDO, Ohio – Sophomore linebacker Saeed Holt was voted "Ironman of the Game" for his performance in last Saturday's homecoming clash against Mid-American Conference foe Western Michigan.  

The Pittsburgh, Pa. native tied his career high with 12 tackles against the Broncos and made two huge plays at the end of the game. With WMU at Toledo's 12-yard line with just over two minutes to play, Holt sacked Bronco quarterback Jon Wassink for a 12-yard loss, setting up a fourth-and-24 situation. Wassink scrambled on the next play and was tackled two yards shy of the first down by Holt, giving Toledo the ball with 1:44 to play.

Holt also received Ironman of the Game recognition for his performance against Kentucky on Aug. 31.
