COLUMBUS, Ohio. - The Toledo men's tennis team finished its run at the ITA Midwest Regional in Columbus with seniors Thawin Suksathaporn and Danilo Vukotic falling out of the singles main draw on Saturday.

"We finished this event a little earlier than we had hoped, but we definitely collected some thoughts about all areas we can improve the rest of this fall," said head coach Al Wermer. "Everyone had at least one win, which doesn't always occur at this event."

Vukotic fell to Notre Dame's Matt Gamble, the tournament's No. 16 seed, in three hard-fought sets, going 6-4, 5-7, 6-4. Suksathaporn fought with Notre Dame's Guillermo Caberra, the No. 8 seed, falling in two sets, 6-0, 6-1.

Freshman Luis Kleinschnitz picked up a win in the qualifying singles consolation round, defeating Green Bay's Dipin Wadhwa, 6-3, 6-4.

Up Next
The Rockets will close out the fall season with the Mid-American Conference Indoor Tournament in Kalamazoo, Mich. Nov. 8-10.
