SUGAR GROVE, Ill. – Toledo finished in 13^th place at the Northern Intercollegiate on Sunday after registering its best round of the tournament. The tournament consisted of four teams that qualified for the 2018 NCAA Regionals and was played at Rich Harvest Farms, the site of the 2017 NCAA Championships.

Senior Spencer Shoemaker was the Rockets' top finisher in the tournament, tying for 28^th place to lead the Rockets at seven-over par 223 (73-74-76).

Junior Rasmus Broholt Lind carded UT's best round of the day with a two-over par 74 and ended the tourney tied for 74^th place at 20-over par 236 (78-84-74).

The remainder of the Rockets' lineup consisted of sophomore Grant Godfrey tied for 61^st place at 15-over par 231 (76-77-78), senior Duncan McNeill tied for 66^th place at 16-over par 232 (77-79-76) and sophomore Jack Boczar in 88^th place at 30-over par 246 (83-88-75).

Marquette edged Notre Dame by one stroke to capture the team title with a 10-over par 874 (281-300-293). The Fighting Irish's Hunter Ostrom earned medalist honors with a six-under par 210 (73-69-68).

Toledo returns to action next week when it hosts the Inverness Intercollegiate on Monday-Tuesday, Sept. 24-25.
