Toledo, Ohio - The University of Toledo women's tennis team swept the doubles matches and took five of six singles' battles in a 6-1 victory over Oakland at Shadow Valley Tennis Club in Maumee on Saturday.

It was the third consecutive dual-match victory for the Rockets, who are now 4-2 on the season.

Mimi Kendall-Woseley, Colleen O'Brien, Kokoro Chishaki and Claire Aleck all won their singles matches in straight sets, while Dee Dee Leenabanchong needed three sets to knock off her opponent.

"It was a really solid effort against a tough Oakland team," said head coach Tracy Mauntler. "We had some really good opportunities to play under pressure today, which was a great experience for us."

The Rockets will be back in action in southern Ohio next weekend, at Cincinnati on Friday and at Wright State on Saturday.
